After using skin-care products for over a decade I wanted to create a mock-up brand that would excite me enough to purchase with nature and fantasy elements. To challenge myself I created a clean and sophisticated design. After sourcing organic plants with magical names that had actual skin benefits, I took pictures and edited them in Photoshop. I created the leaf in InDesign for the logo and used a free typeface that complimented it.
In my Typography class in college, I created an alphabet chart using my natural collection which got into two art shows on campus. After 5 years I wanted to update it using more unique natural items with a sophisticated clean look. After deciding on the final designs, it took 3 days to photograph the 26 letters in natural lighting. I cleaned their shadows in Photoshop then used InDesign to create the alphabet book to accompany the chart.
Wanting to get back into creative type, I had the idea of this HOME piece starting with the nest as the O, the H as the house, then the M and E followed. Was very excited to create with physical materials such as paper mâché, clay, dirt, branches, etc. After photographing the finalized letters and revising them in Photoshop, I realized what a journey this process was and created my first book visually explaining the process using InDesign and Photoshop.
After creating HOME, I wanted to create another unique type piece. After sketching for a while, I came up with the first LOVE design, which included birds and butterflies. Wanting to unify the letters, I sourced flowers from my neighborhood and local florist then took photographs of the plants in their final design. I manipulated and color-corrected the final in Photoshop.

I had the opportunity to redesign a logo for a small business and the main focus was a clean and sophisticated, heart-shaped design, which was new ground for me at the time. This was such a good learning experience to work with the client through the design process to the finished product. I used Adobe InDesign to create the two hearts, and Photoshop for adding the font and sign mock-up.
Having such a love for antique stores after years of exploring them with friends and family, I wanted to create my imaginary antique store logo. While researching Victorian imagery, I found a hand and rose motif and then thought of the phrase "second-hand rose". After sketching those three words into visuals I created the final design using Illustrator. Last I found two mockups that suited the vintage aesthetic and added my design in Photoshop.
This piece was inspired by my collection of natural oddities and the nature festivals my family and I attended during childhood. After sketching ideas, I decided on a heart silhouette for my love of nature. After going through my collections and finding the right objects, I put them in Photoshop to spruce the final design. Then I played with many typefaces to create a sophisticated and natural layout to wrap up the organic aesthetic.
